Skating Lessons

Welcome to Eddie Edgar Ice Arena "Learn to Skate" Program.  A rewarding, challenging, and fun way to learn how to skate. Following the SkateUSA model and objectives to teach the fundamentals of ice skating while building confidence and skills through each lesson.   
 

 

 

 

Group Instruction

Group instruction skating lessons are offered from ages 4 to 17. Sessions are 30 minutes. 

Please note: Learn to Skate (LTS) USA membership is required on annual basis.  The one-time yearly fee will be added to the Registration Fee at Checkout. Cost is $17.75 per skater.

  • Skating Classes are designed to take skaters from beginning steps through advanced freestyle levels.  
  • Hockey Classes are for beginner through more advanced skating.   

Skate Rental is included for each skater.   

All Skaters should wear warm flexible clothing, gloves or mittens. Bike or Hockey helmets are required for all Snow Plow Sam and Hockey Basic Skills classes.  

First Day Procedure: Skaters should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled class time to allow for check in and preparation process. Specific class/instructor assignments will be made on ice after evaluating each student's level.
